Colin Cooper is a native of the Bay Area raised in San Francisco. He took a break from his time in the Bay to attend the University of Chicago, where he graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry. While at UChicago, Colin conducted research in the lab of Professor Scott Snyder, working on the total synthesis of sesquiterpenoids. After graduation, Colin ventured back to the Bay Area to continue research in total synthesis. Outside of the lab, Colin enjoys running, cooking, and camping.
