Nathan Tang

Nathan was born and raised in northern New Jersey. He completed his undergraduate studies at Northeastern University in 2023, majoring in chemistry and minoring in philosophy. He conducted undergraduate research with Professor Roman Manetsch at Northeastern on the total synthesis of Lycopodium alkaloids and has worked at the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR), utilizing photoredox chemistry for medicinal chemistry of targeted protein degraders. Outside of the lab, he enjoys exploring new landscapes on his road bike and having late-night discussions with friends and family at cafés.
