Vanessa was born and raised in Pflugerville, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry and B.A. in Spanish in 2021. During her time at Texas A&M, she researched under Dr. Franҫois Gabbaї where she worked on synthesizing stibonium cations and testing their fluoride anion transport ability. Outside of the lab, Vanessa enjoys listening to music, watching movies, and hiking.
